Woman injured after being stabbed six times by her partner in Torrent (Valencia)

A 44-year-old woman is in a stable hospital in Valencia after being stabbed six times in a house in the Valencian town of Torrente by her partner, a 40-year-old man, who has already been arrested by the National Police.

As police sources confirmed to EFE, the events took place around 6:00 pm this Friday in the family home shared by the couple in the municipality, when the man assaulted his partner and stabbed her six times.

The woman was treated and stabilized by a medical team and transported to the General University Hospital of Valencia in an advanced life support ambulance, the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU) reported.

There is no fear for his life as vital organs are not affected

The victim was accepted conscious and stabilized within the limits of danger, without fear for his life as no vital organ was affected, as sources close to the investigation indicated to EFE, while the man was detained by the police.

Police sources indicated that they are both Spanish nationals and that, according to the first investigations, there were no previous complaints.
